Shannon has worked 10 years in the Brazilian Oil & Gas sector including 4 years living in-country. During his last assignment in Brazil, as VP Exploration, he built and managed a staff of Brazilian geoscientists and engineers that facilitated an acquisition growth strategy for an emerging oil and gas E&P company. Mr. Pohl has been contracted by several E&P companies to evaluate and rank exploration blocks in Brazil's ANP bid rounds and has thus built significant knowledge of the geology, regulatory process and operational environment. Shannon established lasting and mutually respected working relationships with key oil & gas professionals in Brazil. Mr. Pohl has a Bachelor of Science (Honors in Geological Sciences) degree from the University of Manitoba. He is conversationally proficient in Portuguese and has family ties in Brazil.
Mr. Slotboom is an Imperial Oil/Exxon trained petroleum engineer with 30+ years of experience holding technical, operations management and executive positions in companies operating in Canada, Europe, Middle East and South America. Sig has significant experience in running junior oil & gas exploration & production companies. He was a founder and President, CEO of private company Greenbank Energy that was backed by Arc Financial and Annapolis Capital where he led an integrated team for operational direction, financial control and governance/compliance functions. Sig worked closely with and reported to the Board of Directors. Mr. Slotboom has also had senior executive responsibility for the running of two publicly listed companies in Kurdistan, Vast Exploration and Longford Energy. Sig brings a strong foundation in reservoir, evaluation and exploitation engineering and is proficient in project management and business development.

Working 16 years for Bacardi (Brazil 5 years), Julie specializes in complex issue resolution for global manufacturing and distribution of large multinational companies, including tax planning for cross-border acquisitions and corporate restructuring in excess of $5 billion. She served as cross-functional project lead for multi-country operational joint ventures in Latin America, including sale of manufacturing facilities and sensitive negotiations with privately owned principals. Julie spent her initial years with Price Waterhouse/PwC in Canada and holds the CPA designation in both Canada and United States.
Mr. Almeida is a Brazilian engineer who brings more than 15 years of management experience in the Brazilian onshore upstream oil sector. Kleber possesses valuable experience in operations under high standards of HSE, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, local laws and established industry practices. Mr. Almeida held the position of VP Operations for Gran Tierra Energy, Brazil for 6 years. Kleber is well versed in working with the ANP (National Petroleum Agency) and will keep Salvador Energy in good standing.
Mr. Apoluceno is an ex-Petrobras Chief Geologist who brings 40 years of oil exploration success to Salvador Energy's team. Amaro is responsible for 38 new pool discoveries onshore Brazil across 5 sedimentary basins. He has drilled more than 3,000 wells onshore Brazil under his management. After Amaro's retirement from Petrobras, he continued to make significant discoveries onshore Brazil for Independent E&P companies. Mr. Apoluceno remains active and highly respected in the Oil & Gas sector of Brazil.
Mr. McEwan has accumulated 22 years of industry experience, since initiating his career at Norcen Energy (Occidental Petroleum), primarily in senior roles at junior and mid-cap E&P companies. As a prospect generator, Paul has successfully spearheaded exploration and development projects in Canada and onshore Brazil, with a consistent track record of discovering and exploiting various company-making play concepts. Paul has an extensive drilling portfolio in both conventional and unconventional (horizontal multi-stage frac) oil and gas reservoirs. Paul held the position as Chief Geologist for a Canadian-based junior oil and gas operated company, with a focus in the Reconcavo and Sergipe Basins onshore Brazil. Mr. McEwan graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology.
